Does ICT benefit the learning experience?

ICT can be used to benefit both the student and teacher within the learning experience. It can support teaching strategies and form the basis of how a lesson is delivered. Technology has become such a major contributor to our daily lives that it only makes sense to embrace it within teaching. It enables us to introduce the students to a wide range of sources readily available to them at their disposal to aid their learning. Making the experience more interactive helps to engage the students and enables them to find information themselves empowering their sense of choice within learning. If students are made aware of the dangers of using online resources and are confident in their judgement. I feel the Internet and its many resources can help us to make teaching and learning a more exciting experience.
