My experience of using the alternative IWB within a teaching and leaning session is a positive one. I can see how these tools would make a big change to the delivery of a lesson and how the students become involved. Interaction in a lesson is key between the students themselves and with the tutor. these tools allow for this involvement to be introduced quite simply. Providing the programs to create interactive flip charts catered towards the chosen subject. Also by using elements such us question and answer sessions as one example, the students have a chance to become involved with the subject material and the technology. After using both the promethean and smart board I found both pieces of equipment to have individual key elements. The promethean allows pair student involvement. Providing the user with two stylus pens that can be used at once, I found this feature to be appealing. In comparison the smart board allows for stylus and touch use.
